The price of artificial grass depends on the quality and whether you install it yourself or have it installed. Laying artificial grass yourself costs an average of between €20 and €50 per square meter, including materials and supplies. If you have artificial grass professionally installed, for example, for a large area like a soccer field, the cost is usually between €30 and €70 per square meter. For large projects, a custom price is often used.
Laying artificial grass begins with a smooth and stable subfloor. After removing the existing subfloor, a firm layer of sand or mixed granulate is applied and compacted. A pressure-distributing cloth is placed on top of this, after which the artificial grass is cut to size, secured in place, and finished with infill sand.
Cleaning artificial grass is easy. Loose dirt can be removed with a broom or leaf blower, and the grass can be rinsed with water. For stains, a mild detergent is usually sufficient.
